Gossip Girl: The Grammys Gals Try To Refrain From Revealing Skin

The 2013 Grammy Awards were no place for wardrobe malfunctions. Katy Perry did not quite obey the dress code strutting her assets down the red carpet at the Staples Center in Los Angeles Sunday night. The 28-year-old singer took to the Red Carpet in a figure-hugging, mint green dress with a cutout at her chest, revealing ample cleavage – which CBS strictly warned celebrities against. CBS’s warned the Grammys attendees with a “Wardrobe Advisory” to stay modest and refrain from revealing too much skin. “Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered. Thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack. Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic,” the Advisory reads.

With a strict dress code this year, stars toned it down to the point of barely taking fashion risks, but there were a few head-turners.

Rihanna looked stunning in a modern yet classic silhouette with all the right parts wrapped up in red.

Taylor Swift barley holds to the dress code but manages to slip under the wire.

Jennifer Lopez strikes an Angelina pose at the Grammys.

Carry Underwood ditched her form fitting Roberto Cavalli for a PrincessY silver gown to sing her song “Blown Away” with stunning hologram effects floating across her dress for the performance.
